he spends almost no time out of battle either since he can cure his own diseases and reduce his own stress. none of his abilities require mark or repositioning to shine and he fits comfortably with any party i use. placing him in the second row allows you access to more or less all his abilities, giving him the freedom to act as an aoe blight user, single target stun with decent damage dealer or insane physical damage dealer. on more than one occasion the stress of the entire party had been overall REDUCED from where it started due to high crit and kill count from his actions. with this setup his stress from transformation becomes a non-issue. his gear was easy to get and are both class dependent (locks of fury and restraining locks), which frees up ancestor trinkets or w/e else for the other characters. this allows everyone else to focus on whatever they do best. not only does it kill w/e he summons immediately, he heals himself and deals decent damage vs the boss himself. it got to the point that if i might fight "it came from the stars" or w/e his name is i have to bring abom because his rake trivializes the fight. i could go through each class and make a write up of what's been my experience with it but the attention it would receive would hardly warrant the effort in doing so, therefore i'll just address the most grievous insult to rank, abomination.Ībomination was easily my highest damage dealer throughout the game and almost single- handedly won me most boss battles. com for instance made a list that almost seems completely backwards.
some of these lists i outright disagree with to the point that i'm thinking the game must have changed significantly since the post was made. just as a background i'm playing on darkest difficulty, it's my first playthrough and i just hit 2 years (104 weeks), killed all bosses and about to tackle my 3rd darkest dungeon run. Looking at these class ranked posts has me rubbing my head.
